Sabudana Poha!

Sabudana Poha is very healthy and easy to make. This is extremely low in fat and full of starch or carbohydrates and hence is a great food for a quick boost of energy. 

Sabudana Poha is vegan and the gluten-free dish during the season of Navratri. However, you don’t really need an occasion to make and devour it.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sabudana (soaked)
  • 1 Potato (flat chopped)
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds 
  • 10-15 Curry leaves (chopped) 
  • 1/2 cup Peas
  • 1 Green chilly (chopped)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanut
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed Sugar (bura)
  • Salt (as per taste)

Directions:

  • Wash and soak the Sabudana overnight. 
  • Drain the water completely while cooking.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and potato. Add a pinch of salt so potato will soft.
  • After 10min add peas, green chilly, and posted peanut into it.
  • Now add soaked Sabudana, salt, black pepper, and crushed sugar and saute for 2-3 min.
  • Once cooked add lemon juice and serve it.
