Sabudana Poha!
Sabudana Poha is very healthy and easy to make. This is extremely low in fat and full of starch or carbohydrates and hence is a great food for a quick boost of energy.
Sabudana Poha is vegan and the gluten-free dish during the season of Navratri. However, you don’t really need an occasion to make and devour it.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Sabudana (soaked)
- 1 Potato (flat chopped)
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 10-15 Curry leaves (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Peas
- 1 Green chilly (chopped)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup roasted peanut
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp crushed Sugar (bura)
- Salt (as per taste)
Directions:
- Wash and soak the Sabudana overnight.
- Drain the water completely while cooking.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves and potato. Add a pinch of salt so potato will soft.
- After 10min add peas, green chilly, and posted peanut into it.
- Now add soaked Sabudana, salt, black pepper, and crushed sugar and saute for 2-3 min.
- Once cooked add lemon juice and serve it.
